The NLRFD worked along side Sanitation, Code Enforcement, Animal Control, Police, Street and Electric Department to focus on two areas of Rose City. The Fire Department visited almost 500 homes, installed 129 smoke alarms, replaced 65 smoke alarm batteries and passed out over 500 coloring books, boxes of crayons and fire helmets to the kids.
