Friday, October 16, North Little Rock Fire Department welcomed its newest fire station. The new Station 11 will be instrumental in the growth of our city and Fire Department. The support from the residents of the rapdily growing east side has been immeasurable and the NLRFD will demonstrate their appreciation by delivering world class emergency services, for which they have become well known.
The NLRFD would like to express their gratitude to their business partners who have been instrumental in the growth of the city. With the backing of Mayor Joe Smith, the City Council, and the NLR Chamber of Commerce, the expansion will be utilized in recruiting new industry and jobs to the city of North Little Rock.
Present at the opening were the Reverend Larry Seiferth, Fire Chief Jim Murphy, Mayor Joe Smith, U.S. Congressman French Hill, NLR Aldermen Linda Robinson, Maurice Taylor, Beth White, and Debi Ross.
