The North Little Rock Police Department has 186 sworn officer positions. It takes a special person to fill one of these positions and few who aspire will ever wear the badge. Applications must be made online through the Human Resources page of the City’s website:
- Go to the City of North Little Rock web site www.nlr.ar.gov
- Under the Government tab, from the A-Z Department list select Human Resources
- Select Vacancies , find Police Officer, and follow the prompts.
Testing dates will be posted as they are announced by the Human Resources Department. You may complete a contact card to receive an email notification that applications are being accepted. Follow the link and select Law Enforcement.
